Mahindra, one of the original teams in the world’s first all-electric street racing series, wins the Greenko Hyderabad E-Prix in the ninth season of the Formula E Championship with its Gen3 race car.

A special livery for the XUV 400 Formula Edition that was inspired by racing was also unveiled by Mahindra. On the livery design of the Gen3 car, the Mahindra Formula E and Mahindra Advanced Design Europe (M.A.D.E.) teams worked together to bring the excitement of this thrilling sport to life.
According to Asha Kharga, the chairman of Mahindra Racing, “This race will help establish Formula E as one of the top sports in the nation. More importantly, it describes the racing technology possibilities that can influence our road cars.
The Hyderabad Street Circuit, which is situated alongside Hussain Sagar Lake, will host the Greenko Hyderabad E-Prix. Lucas Di Grassi, who won the Macau Grand Prix in 2005 and finished on the podium three times overall at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, is one of the seasoned and accomplished drivers on the Mahindra Racing team. Oliver Rowland is a well-known and admired single-seater racing champion and Formula E race victor. For Season 8 of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship, the 29-year-old British driver joined the Mahindra Racing team.
The team has also recently onboarded Jehan Daruvala, a young and accomplished racer, as the reserve driver, who is a protégé of the Force India F1 team after being one of three winners of a ‘One in a Billion hunt’ organized by the team in 2011.
