The E-Vitara is built on Maruti Suzuki’s cutting-edge Global C-platform, featuring a robust powertrain designed for efficient performance. The SUV is equipped with a high-capacity lithium-ion battery, offering an estimated range of up to 500 kilometers on a single charge. Additionally, fast-charging technology enables the battery to reach 80% capacity in under an hour.
The vehicle is targeted at eco-conscious consumers seeking reliable and stylish alternatives to traditional internal combustion engine vehicles. With a focus on safety and comfort, the E-Vitara includes advanced driver-assistance systems, spacious interiors, and a host of modern infotainment features.

We aim to make electric vehicles accessible and practical for Indian consumers while contributing to a sustainable future.”
Maruti Suzuki plans to produce the E-Vitara at its state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Gujarat, aligning with the government’s vision to promote electric mobility and reduce carbon emissions. The SUV is expected to be competitively priced, making it an attractive option in the burgeoning EV market in India.
The E-Vitara is slated for a commercial launch in mid-2025, with pre-bookings likely to open in the coming months.
