The arrival of MG Motor’s compact all-electric vehicle, the Comet EV, in India was just confirmed. The car will be unveiled on April 19, with a price range of Rs. 10 lakh to Rs. 15 lakh estimated. (ex-showroom). The interior of the Comet EV has been revealed ahead of its introduction by the company.
The EV’s dashboard, as seen in the first peek, features a dual-screen arrangement with two 10.25-inch screens. The left unit will house the infotainment system, while the right unit will house the instrument cluster.
The modern-looking two-spoke steering wheel with circular controls on either side sits in front of these screens. It has controls for the infotainment system and for scrolling through various information on the instrument cluster.
The MG Comet EV will be available in five colours and two battery pack sizes: 17.3kWh and 26.7kWh, with claimed ranges of 200km and 300km, respectively.
When it is released, the Comet EV will compete with rivals such as the Citroen eC3.
