JSW‑MG Motor India has formally launched the MG Cyberster, its first all-electric roadster, pricing it at ₹72.49 lakh (ex‑showroom) for customers who had pre-booked. For fresh bookings, the price is set at ₹74.99 lakh, with deliveries scheduled to begin from August 10, 2025, exclusively through the premium MG Select dealership network.

A modern reinterpretation of the classic MGB Roadster, the Cyberster combines retro styling with advanced EV performance. It features dual-motor, all-wheel-drive powertrain delivering 510 PS (about 510 bhp) and 725 Nm of torque, allowing it to sprint from 0–100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds. The vehicle benefits from a streamlined design with 0.269 Cd drag coefficient for enhanced efficiency and aesthetics.

The roadster is equipped with a 77 kWh ultra-thin battery pack, boasting an MIDC-certified range of up to 580 km per charge. With a battery thickness of just 110 mm, it helps maintain a sleek profile without compromising performance.

Inside, the Cyberster offers a futuristic three- and four-screen cockpit layout. It includes a 10.25-inch infotainment screen, dual 7-inch digital displays for driver info and climate control, premium vegan leather and suede upholstery, dual‑zone climate control, and an 8-speaker BOSE sound system for a high-end user experience.

Safety and advanced features are robust, including Level 2 ADAS, a driver monitoring system, electronic stability control, tyre pressure monitoring, and multiple airbags. Underpinning the chassis is engineering from a former Formula 1 engineer, delivering superior stability with a high Static Stability Factor (SSF).

As part of its launch benefits, MG offers customers a lifetime battery warranty for the first owner and a 3‑year, unlimited-km vehicle warranty. Each purchase includes both a 3.3 kW portable charger and a 7.4 kW wall‑box charger, along with standard installation, enhancing ownership convenience.
