MG Motors‘ The Windsor, the latest electric car is introduced in India. This is the company’s third electric car to be launched in India, succeeding the ZS EV and the Comet. One attribute that puts the Windsor apart is its Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) approach, which allows customers lease batteries in place of purchasing them whole.

Key features:

  • MG Motors’ new Windsor electric car has a 331 km range on a single charge.
  • It has a panoramic glass roof and back seats that can recline up to 135 degrees, among other comfort features.
  • Starting at Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom), the price is set.

Special selling features:

  • MG Motors’ Windsor electric car features a Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) concept that lowers the starting price as well as the cost per kilometer.
  • Its style includes a simple inside and a sleek, contemporary MPV.
  • The car has cutting-edge safety technologies, wifi connectivity, and a large touchscreen entertainment system.

The Windsor is available in four colors and three trim options: Excitement, Exclusive, and Essence. With a 45kW fast charger, the electric drivetrain’s advertised range of 331 kilometers can be reached in 55 minutes, from 0% to 80%.
