Nissan has officially unveiled the third-generation LEAF, featuring a refreshed design, significantly improved range, and advanced technology aimed at enriching the modern electric lifestyle. The global premiere marks a new chapter in the journey of one of the world’s most recognized electric vehicles.

The all-new LEAF is equipped with a powerful 66 kWh battery pack, offering an impressive range of up to 303 miles (WLTP). This marks a considerable upgrade from its predecessor, reinforcing Nissan’s commitment to delivering longer-range EVs suited for both city and intercity travel.

Sporting a bolder, more aerodynamic design, the third-gen LEAF blends form with function. Its sleeker lines and new signature lighting not only enhance aesthetics but also improve efficiency. The revamped exterior signals Nissan’s evolving EV design language, drawing inspiration from its upcoming global EV portfolio.

Inside, the cabin is loaded with tech upgrades, including a next-gen infotainment system, voice command integration, and seamless smartphone connectivity. A new digital dashboard, ambient lighting, and premium materials reflect Nissan’s focus on comfort and innovation for daily EV users.

Safety and convenience also see notable improvements. The latest version comes equipped with Nissan’s ProPILOT Assist 2.0, offering semi-autonomous driving capabilities, lane assistance, and adaptive cruise control. Enhanced regenerative braking and a revamped e-Pedal system further elevate the driving experience.

Nissan has emphasized sustainability in the new LEAF’s production, utilizing more eco-friendly materials and improving overall efficiency across its manufacturing process. The vehicle is also compatible with bidirectional charging, enabling users to power homes or return energy to the grid.

The third-generation Nissan LEAF is expected to hit global markets in phases starting later this year, with India and other Asia-Pacific regions in focus. As EV competition heats up, Nissan is positioning its flagship electric hatchback to remain at the forefront of innovation, practicality, and sustainable mobility.
