Nissan is set to make a significant impact at the 21st Shanghai International Automobile Industry Exhibition (Auto Shanghai 2025) by unveiling an all-new model on April 23. This launch is part of Nissan’s strategy to enhance its presence in the Chinese market and expand its New Energy Vehicle (NEV) portfolio. The upcoming model aims to cater to the growing demand for electric and hybrid vehicles in China, aligning with the country’s shift towards sustainable transportation solutions.

The new model will join Nissan’s lineup alongside the Dongfeng Nissan N7, a fully electric sedan developed specifically for the Chinese market. The N7 is expected to be available in showrooms later this month and represents a significant step in Nissan’s localized EV strategy. It combines advanced technology with modern design to appeal to China’s tech-savvy consumers.

In addition to passenger vehicles, Nissan will showcase its high-performance capabilities with the Formula E GEN3 Evo race car. This display offers fans a glimpse into the future of electric motorsports and underscores Nissan’s commitment to innovation in the EV sector. The Formula E race car’s presence at the exhibition precedes Rounds 10 and 11 of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship, which are scheduled to take place in Shanghai shortly after the exhibition.

Nissan’s participation in Auto Shanghai 2025 highlights its dedication to the Chinese market, which is the world’s largest automotive market and a key focus for the company’s electrification efforts. The unveiling of the new model and the showcasing of the N7 and Formula E race car demonstrate Nissan’s commitment to offering a diverse range of electric vehicles that cater to various consumer preferences.

The introduction of these new models comes at a time when the Chinese automotive market is experiencing rapid growth in electric vehicle adoption. Consumers are increasingly seeking sustainable and technologically advanced transportation options, and Nissan’s latest offerings aim to meet these demands. By expanding its NEV portfolio, Nissan aims to strengthen its position in the competitive Chinese market and contribute to the global transition towards electric mobility.

Overall, Nissan’s participation in Auto Shanghai 2025 underscores its commitment to innovation, sustainability, and meeting the evolving needs of consumers in the world’s largest automotive market. The unveiling of the new model, along with the showcasing of the N7 and Formula E race car, reflects Nissan’s strategic focus on electrification and its efforts to lead the way in the future of mobility.
