Oben Electric, a Bengaluru-based electric two-wheeler manufacturer, has significantly expanded its presence by inaugurating 15 new showrooms across India in a single day. This strategic move aims to strengthen the company’s footprint in key markets and enhance accessibility for customers nationwide.
The newly launched showrooms are located in major cities including Delhi, Pune, and various locations in Kerala, such as Kochi and Trivandrum. In Bengaluru, the company has added outlets in Banashankari, Rajajinagar, and Electronic City, supplementing its existing experience center in HSR Layout. This expansion brings Oben Electric’s total showroom count to eight in these critical regions.
Oben Electric’s flagship model, the Rorr electric motorcycle, has been a driving force behind this rapid expansion. The Rorr features an 8 kW IPMSM motor, accelerates from 0 to 40 km/h in 3 seconds, and reaches a top speed of 100 km/h. It boasts a certified range of 187 km (IDC) and incorporates innovative LFP cell technology for extended battery life and improved heat resistance.

Looking ahead, Oben Electric plans to establish 50 new showrooms and service centers across 12 major Indian cities by the end of 2024. This ambitious expansion underscores the company’s commitment to promoting sustainable mobility solutions and providing robust sales and after-sales support to its growing customer base.
