Ola Electric has launched a ‘Network Partner Program’ as portion of its plan to expand electric vehicle (EV) adoption across India.
The initiative seeks to spread the EV revolution to urban areas with lower EV penetration as well as Tier II and III cities. The company has onboarded over 625 partners thus far, and by the approaching holiday season, it hopes to have 1,000 partners.
Ola Electric said in a statement that it plans to add 10,000 partners by the end of 2025 in order to grow its nationwide sales and service network.
The corporation currently runs close to 800 locations that it owns. By the holiday season, it hopes to have 1,800 sales and service touchpoints in place thanks to the inclusion of its network partners.
“By requiring partners to contribute a minimal amount of cash and enabling quick growth, the Network Partner Program expands the advantages of our direct-to-consumer (D2C) network. The sales and service network will still be anchored by our company-owned stores, but this program will be crucial in expanding the reach of EVs into more rural and urban areas,” said Bhavish Aggarwal, Chairman and Managing Director of Ola Electric.
“We are committed to expanding our front-end network to accelerate EV adoption and #EndICEAge, with plans to onboard 10,000 Network Partners by the end of next year,” he stated. Ola Electric recently introduced the Roadster motorcycle line, which consists of the Roadster X, Roadster, and Roadster Pro models. This announcement comes after that launch.
