The first heavy-duty 64 electric tippers in India received their first homologation certificate, according to an announcement from Olectra Greentech Limited. Megha Engineering & Infrastructures Limited’s group of companies includes Olectra Greentech Limited.
The electric tipper is roadworthy and has complied with all Central Motor Vehicles regulations. The company announced that it is currently debating a purchase order for 20 electric tippers and added that it would soon introduce additional electric tipper and truck models.
India’s first heavy-duty, certified tipper is the Olectra electric tipper. It was designed and manufactured in India. For the purchase of 20 electric tippers, discussions are currently in their final stages.
The managing director and chairman of Olectra Greentech, K V Pradeep, stated, “We will soon launch variants for the electric tipper and electric truck. The journey we are on just got started.
The electric tipper was put through rigorous testing in a variety of environments, including navigating mountainous terrains at high elevations and digging into the ground in quarrying and mining pits, in order to make it ready for Indian roads.
