Quectel Wireless Solutions, a global IoT solutions provider, is thrilled to announce its participation in Auto EV India 2024, where it will showcase its advanced dead reckoning GNSS modules tailored for the evolving needs of the automotive and electric vehicle (EV) industries. The event is set to take place from 27th to 29th November at the KTPO Convention Centre, Bengaluru, India, offering a platform for industry innovators to explore Quectel’s pioneering technologies.

Quectel will present a suite of enhanced GNSS modules ideally suited to India’s rapidly changing landscape:

L89H(D): An AIS140-compliant module featuring a dual-antenna design and an integrated Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) for outstanding reliability in even the most demanding environments. Building on the success of the popular L89H(A) design, Quectel has introduced dead reckoning functionality into this compact antenna module.

LC29H: A dual-band, multi-constellation, high-precision GNSS module series, available in multiple variants and optionally integrating RTK and DR for precise positioning.

LG69T: An advanced automotive grade dual-band multi-constellation GNSS module integrating DR/RTK, enabling centimeter-level accuracy and DR resiliency for autonomous vehicles and high-precision applications.

Furthermore, Quectel will also highlight its robust portfolio of automotive-focused modules and antennas, tailored to address the diverse requirements of both OEMs and the aftermarket. The showcased solutions include high-performance cellular modules for seamless connectivity, C-V2X technology to enable advanced vehicle-to-everything communication, and Wi-Fi/Bluetooth solutions for enhanced in-car connectivity. Additionally, Quectel will present Smart modules for next-generation infotainment systems, LPWA modules for low-power, long-range data transmission, and Satellite solutions for precise positioning and navigation. These offerings underscore Quectel’s commitment to delivering reliable, innovative technologies that power the future of the automotive industry.

Also featured at the exhibition will be the LG290P, the first quad-band GNSS module, designed to deliver high performance for the most demanding applications, ensuring exceptional RTK performance. The module is the ideal choice for high-precision applications in difficult environments. and the LG290P is available as part of a new GNSS module, antenna and real-time kinematic (RTK) correction service bundle to enable fast-time-to-market and simplify procurement and integration of components and services for precision applications where cm accuracy is required.

Each of these solutions highlights Quectel’s dedication to equipping OEMs and developers with advanced technology that shapes the future of mobility. By integrating DR and RTK functionalities, these modules deliver superior accuracy, faster positioning, and robust reliability, addressing the critical demands of autonomous driving, fleet management, and telematics.

Additionally, Quectel will highlight its comprehensive range of GNSS-specific antennas, purpose-built to seamlessly integrate with its advanced GNSS modules. By offering IoT antennas and modules under one roof, Quectel enables customers to optimize costs and fast-track their development cycles, simplifying the path from initial concept to full-scale production. Attendees at Auto EV India 2024 can visit the Quectel booth to explore these innovative GNSS antenna solutions and discuss how they can enhance their IoT projects.

“We are excited to bring our latest GNSS innovations to Auto EV India 2024,” said Norbert Muhrer, President and CSO, Quectel Wireless Solutions. “With the automotive and EV sectors increasingly relying on precise navigation technologies, our solutions provide an indispensable foundation for developing safer, smarter, and more efficient vehicles.”

Quectel’s presence at Auto EV India underscores its expertise in IoT and GNSS innovation, fostering collaboration to meet the evolving demands of the automotive ecosystem. Visitors are invited to explore Quectel’s products and discuss tailored solutions at Hall 1, Booth D1 during the event.
