“Rall-E,” an electric vehicle (EV) rally that began at People’s Plaza here and ended at Hitex Exhibition Centre, the Hyderabad e-Mobility Week got off. It served to highlight Telangana’s progress in EV adoption and to spread the word about sustainable mobility.
Thousands of EV enthusiasts rode their electric two- and three-wheelers and electric buses through various areas of the city during the first-ever Rall-E.
A special stunt show by Gravton Motors‘ Sheraaz and Rahul was also planned as a way to build anticipation for e-Mobility Week and spread the word about sustainable mobility.
Actor and director Adivi Sesh, IT Principal Secretary Jayesh Ranjan, director Nag Ashwin, and other leaders from the industry led the EV rally.
A special stunt show by Sheraaz and Rahul of Gravton Motors was the highlight of the rally, which was organised to spread the message of sustainable mobility and showcase their excitement towards the E-Mobility week. Actor-director Adivi Sesh congratulated the Gravton team and the stuntmen.
Several government agencies and business partners, including TSRTC, Apollo Tires, Gravton Motors, Citreon, TVS, Ola, Ather, Uber, MG Motors, Mahindra, Quantum, Atum Motors, Bud-e Bikes, Pure EV, and Eto, among others, participated in the EV rally. A musical concert with performances by Jammers Band, Band Buddies (previously Rooh), and lyricist Krishna Chaitanya was also planned. The main Hyderabad e-Mobility event will conclude with the first Formula E race in India on February 11.
