Revolt Motors has unveiled its latest electric motorcycle, the RV BlazeX, priced at Rs 1.14 lakh (ex-showroom). This new model, designed for daily commuting, promises to provide an efficient and eco-friendly alternative to traditional fuel-powered motorcycles. Bookings are now open, with deliveries expected to begin in March 2025.
The RV BlazeX boasts an impressive range of up to 150 km on a single charge, supported by its 3.24kWh removable battery and 4kWh electric motor. This range is ideal for city commuting, ensuring users can travel without the frequent need to recharge. The BlazeX is also capable of reaching a top speed of 85 km/h, making it suitable for a variety of urban road conditions.
Charging the BlazeX is hassle-free, with the option of using a DC fast charger that can charge the battery from 0% to 80% in just 80 minutes. For home charging, the bike takes approximately 3.5 hours to reach full charge, making it convenient for everyday use. These features ensure that users will spend less time charging and more time riding.
In terms of design, the RV BlazeX keeps a practical approach with a long seat, tapering tail section, and circular LED headlamp. It is available in two color options: Eclipse Red Black and Sterling Silver Black. While its design focuses on functionality, it maintains a modern and stylish look, ideal for daily commuting.
The BlazeX is equipped with advanced features such as full LED lighting, a 6.0-inch LCD display on the instrument cluster, and smartphone connectivity. Additionally, it supports over-the-air (OTA) software updates, ensuring that the motorcycle remains up to date with the latest features. For added convenience, the bike also offers a storage compartment and a charging area underneath the seat.
For suspension, the RV BlazeX is fitted with twin rear shock absorbers and a telescopic front fork, ensuring a smooth ride even on rough city roads. It also comes with front and rear disc brakes, providing enhanced safety and control for the rider.
