In a significant move towards sustainable urban transportation, Rilox EV and Hala Mobility have announced a multi-year partnership to deploy 20,000 electric two-wheelers across India. This collaboration aims to cater to gig workers, urban commuters, and fleet operators, addressing the growing demand for eco-friendly mobility solutions in densely populated cities.

The deployment will commence with low-speed models and gradually expand to include high-speed variants. Approximately 400 vehicles will be rolled out each month, focusing on premium, fleet-optimized models designed for high-usage environments. This phased approach ensures a steady integration of electric vehicles into the urban landscape, promoting a shift towards cleaner transportation options.

Rilox EV’s Spark Lite electric two-wheeler will be at the forefront of this initiative. Known for its durability and efficiency, the Spark Lite is tailored to meet the rigorous demands of daily commuters and delivery personnel. The vehicle’s design emphasizes performance and reliability, making it a suitable choice for various urban mobility needs.

Hala Mobility, a Hyderabad-based electric vehicle-as-a-service platform, brings its expertise in fleet management and operational efficiency to the partnership. With a presence in multiple Indian cities, including Hyderabad, Bangalore, and Chennai, Hala Mobility has been instrumental in promoting electric mobility solutions for e-commerce companies and gig workers. Their platform offers comprehensive services, including vehicle leasing, battery management, and driver support, ensuring a seamless experience for users.

The collaboration between Rilox EV and Hala Mobility is poised to make a substantial impact on India’s electric vehicle landscape. By combining Rilox’s manufacturing capabilities with Hala’s service-oriented approach, the partnership aims to accelerate the adoption of electric two-wheelers, reduce carbon emissions, and contribute to the country’s sustainable development goals.

As the initiative progresses, both companies are exploring opportunities to expand their offerings and enter new markets. Discussions are underway to introduce loader vehicles and other electric mobility solutions, further solidifying their commitment to transforming urban transportation in India.
