Servotech Power Systems Ltd. has acquired a considerable bond for establishing 12 EV charging stations from the Agency for New and Renewable Energy Research and Technology (ANERT), Department of Power, Govt. of Kerala. Under this bond Servotech has to set up 12 electric vehicle (EV) charging stations with 30KW Fast DC EV Chargers at the various sites of Kerala Motor Vehicle Department. This bond includes Servotech delivery, authorizing, and manufacture of EV charging stations.
The first part of this pilot project, whose execution has already started, will involve installing four EV charging stations, while the second phase will involve installing eight EV charging stations. By significantly enhancing the state’s EV charging infrastructure, this project will help Kerala transition to more environmentally friendly modes of transportation. Convenient and easily accessible infrastructure for electric vehicle charging is necessary as the demand for EV mobility increases. EV drivers will be able to conveniently recharge their vehicles while driving thanks to these charging points.
Sarika Bhatia, Director of Servotech Power Systems Ltd. said, “Working on this ANERT pilot project makes us very happy. This move takes us one step closer to realising our shared goal of seeing India become an EV-powered country. As a prominent participant in EV charging, we are actively working to help India make the shift to green transportation. We are leaving our green mark, and while we are starting in Kerala, we intend to expand to other states as well. Our trustworthy EV charging stations will be made possible by our effective hardware and software solutions, meeting the increasing demand for environmentally friendly transportation choices. In order to serve the growing EV customer base and enable its planned expansion in EV charging infrastructure in locations with high charging demand, this project will prove to be crucial for infrastructure development.”
