India’s leading electric vehicle (EV) charging network, Statiq, has partnered with Vertelo, a bespoke electric mobility solutions provider, designed to make fleet electrification an easy transition, to enhance the country’s EV infrastructure. This alliance is aimed at making it easier for people to switch to electric vehicles by ensuring that charging points are more accessible and reliable.

The partnership will see Statiq providing a turnkey solution that includes the supply of EV chargers, a robust technology platform, and the complete execution of EPC (engineering, procurement, and construction) services to install and commission these chargers. Additionally, Statiq and Vertelo will co-develop EV charging sites, further strengthening the EV infrastructure in India.

Speaking about it, Akshit Bansal, Founder & CEO, Statiq noted, “Our goal at Statiq is to make EV charging hassle-free and available for everyone. Aligning with Vertelo allows us to expand our reach and offer even better service to our users. By combining our technology and infrastructure expertise with Vertelo’s financing solutions, we’re setting the stage for a more sustainable and greener future. By working together, we’re not just adding more chargers; we’re creating a strong foundation for the future of electric mobility in India.”

Echoing the sentiments, Sandeep Gambhir, CEO, Vertelo said, “At Vertelo, we’re focussed on making the shift to electric vehicles smoother for everyone. By teaming up with Statiq, we’re ensuring that the charging infrastructure is in place to support this transition. This association is a step forward in our mission to drive widespread adoption of EVs in India. Together, Statiq and Vertelo are working to make electric vehicles a practical and attractive option for more people in India.”

Statiq currently operates over 7,000+ chargers in 65 cities, covering a wide range of regions from major cities to smaller towns. With plans to expand to 20,000 chargers by 2025, this partnership with Vertelo is an important part of that growth. Vertelo’s expertise in EV financing and fleet management will help ensure that these new chargers are effectively deployed and used across the country.
