Statiq, India’s leading EV charging network, has announced a significant partnership with Gentari Green Mobility India, a company under the clean energy solutions group, Gentari. This collaboration aims to enhance interoperability within the electric vehicle (EV) charging sector, addressing the urgent need for a comprehensive and accessible charging infrastructure across the country.

The rise in electric vehicle adoption in India reflects a growing awareness of climate change and a collective effort to embrace sustainable practices. As consumers increasingly recognise the environmental benefits and cost-efficiency of EVs, the demand for reliable and widespread charging solutions is on the rise. Statiq, which also supplies chargers to Gentari, is set to play a critical role in facilitating this transition in supporting India’s green mobility agenda.

Akshit Bansal, Founder and CEO of Statiq, emphasised the significance of this collaboration: “Our partnership with Gentari is a major step forward in creating a robust and accessible EV charging network in India. By combining our expertise and resources, we aim to make EV charging seamless and efficient for all users, ultimately accelerating the shift towards sustainable transportation. Opening our charging network to Gentari and vice versa, we believe there are no boundaries when it comes to growth.”

Gentari brings substantial experience in clean energy solutions, supporting customers in their decarbonisation journeys. Their expansion into India’s EV charging infrastructure marks a pivotal moment for the industry. Nikhil Thomas, CEO of Gentari Green Mobility India, shared his thoughts on the partnership: “Joining hands with Statiq aligns with our mission to promote sustainable energy initiatives. This collaboration enables us to expand our footprint in India’s growing EV market, providing reliable and user-friendly charging solutions. Leveraging our green mobility capabilities alongside Statiq’s established presence, we are set to make a significant impact on India’s transition to electric mobility, fostering a cleaner environment and supporting the country’s net-zero carbon emissions target.”

As India moves towards sustainability, such alliances are crucial for achieving environmental objectives and ensuring a cleaner, greener future.
