Statiq, a leading EV charging network provider in India, has announced its integration with Google Maps. The collaboration aims to enhance the EV driving experience in India by providing real-time availability on charging stations, helping to alleviate range anxiety and support the country’s growing EV adoption.

With the increasing adoption of electric vehicles in India, both for cars and two-wheelers, it is essential for EV drivers to have easy access to reliable information on charging infrastructure. Through this partnership, Google Maps will now feature detailed information on Statiq’s charging stations, including port types and real-time availability, allowing users to filter by their specific charger type and confirm station accessibility before heading out. This initiative is expected to make EV adoption more convenient and stress-free, particularly for those planning road trips or needing a quick charge.

Raghav Arora, Co-founder & CTO of Statiq said, “Our collaboration with Google Maps marks a significant milestone in our journey to make EV charging more accessible and user-friendly in India. By integrating our network into Google Maps, we are providing EV owners with crucial information at their fingertips, reducing range anxiety, and encouraging more people to switch to electric vehicles. This partnership not only benefits EV drivers but also contributes to a greener, more sustainable future for our country.”

Statiq remains committed to expanding its charging network to 20,000 chargers by the end of 2025, reinforcing its mission to support the widespread adoption of electric vehicles across India.
