Statiq, a leading electric vehicle (EV) charging network provider, has announced a significant milestone with the expansion of its network to 8,000 EV chargers across India. This achievement solidifies the company’s position as a major player in the EV infrastructure market, capturing a 22% market share.

The Gurugram-based firm revealed its latest expansion plans as part of its broader strategy to support India’s transition to sustainable mobility. With this development, Statiq has established itself as one of the largest EV charging networks in the country, catering to the growing demand for accessible and efficient charging solutions.

“We are thrilled to announce the expansion of our charging network to 8,000 chargers, which represents a major step forward in our mission to accelerate EV adoption in India,” said Akshit Bansal, CEO and Co-founder of Statiq. “Our focus remains on providing reliable and user-friendly charging infrastructure to support the evolving needs of EV users.”

Statiq’s network spans multiple states, covering key urban centers and highways to ensure convenience for EV users. The company’s efforts align with the Indian government’s push for electric mobility and its target of achieving 30% EV adoption by 2030. The network’s rapid growth is supported by strategic partnerships with OEMs, fleet operators, and commercial establishments.

Industry experts have lauded Statiq’s achievements, noting its pivotal role in addressing one of the critical challenges to EV adoption—the availability of charging infrastructure. The company aims to further expand its network to include 20,000 chargers by 2025, focusing on innovations in technology and user experience.

As the EV market continues to evolve, Statiq’s growing footprint highlights the increasing momentum toward clean and sustainable transportation solutions in India.
