Statiq, an electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions provider, is partnering with hotels across India to support sustainable travel by installing EV charging infrastructure at various hotel properties. This initiative aims to enhance the convenience for electric vehicle owners while positioning hotels as eco-friendly destinations that cater to green-conscious travelers.
As part of this collaboration, Statiq has already deployed chargers in luxury, mid-tier, and boutique hotels throughout 2024. By 2025, the company plans to expand its network to over 700 hotels in tier-1 and tier-2 cities, highways, and popular tourist destinations, further enhancing India’s growing EV ecosystem.
Statiq’s Founder & CEO, Akshit Bansal, emphasized that the initiative is not merely about adding a convenience feature but about promoting environmental responsibility. By installing EV chargers, hotels help eliminate barriers to EV adoption and contribute to reducing fossil fuel dependence, improving air quality, and creating healthier urban environments.
The move comes at a time when the hospitality industry is increasingly prioritizing sustainability, with many properties seeking to appeal to eco-conscious guests. With more travelers considering electric vehicles for their journeys, providing charging facilities is seen as a critical step toward a cleaner, greener future.
Through its strategic partnership with hotels, Statiq is not only contributing to India’s shift toward electric mobility but also making sustainable travel more accessible for a broader range of consumers. This initiative is expected to drive further growth in the EV sector and encourage more widespread adoption.
