Strom Motors introduced the Strom R3, the most reasonably priced three-wheeled electric car in India. There are rumors that a new Strom 3 electric car will be available soon.
The Strom R3 has a number of innovative features. IoT-based monitoring, a 4.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 7-inch touchscreen, voice control with 4G, GPS, and gesture control, and a driver seat that can be adjusted. Remote keyless entry, power windows, climate control, and a reverse camera with parking assistance. The 13 kW motor can generate a maximum torque of 48 Nm and has a range of up to 200 km. There is support for both normal and fast charging; with fast charging, the battery may be fully charged in three hours.
The Strom R3 is a unique three-wheeler with two wheels up front and one in the back. Its compact form includes two doors, two seats, a sunroof, a 300-liter boot, 12-inch alloy wheels, and three driving modes.
The Strom R3 cost Rs 4.5 lakh when it was first released in 2021. Pre-booking was made available after the unveiling.
