Stryder Cycles, part of the Tata International portfolio, has introduced its latest e-bike model the ETB 200 priced at ₹33,595 after an introductory discount. The launch aims to provide an affordable, eco-friendly commuting option for city dwellers.
Built for practicality, the ETB 200 features a 36 V, 7.8 Ah splash-proof lithium-ion battery that is removable for easy indoor charging. A full charge in approximately four hours delivers a claimed range of up to 40 km, making it suitable for daily visits to work, errands, or school.
The bike uses a sturdy frame, dual disc brakes, a front suspension fork, and 2.10‑inch tyres to ensure stability and durability. It is powered by a 250 W BLDC hub motor, enabling a top speed of under 25 km/h — satisfying legal regulations for electric-assisted bicycles.
Safety and convenience are at the forefront: the ETB 200 includes key start, automatic power cut‑off when braking, an MTB‑style oversized handlebar, quick‑release PU saddle, and a built‑in headlight for night use.
Rahul Gupta, Business Head of Stryder, positioned the ETB 200 as part of India’s broader green-mobility push, emphasising its flexible, user-friendly design tailored to urban needs.
With competitive pricing, easy financing options like no‑cost EMI, and availability online via the company website and Flipkart, the ETB 200 positions itself as a strong contender in India’s budget e‑bike segment.
