Swytchd an electric vehicle startup, has received $553,000 in a seed round led by Keiretsu Forum, an angel investor network. Let’s Venture, Venture Catalyst, and Beej Network was among those who participated in the round. The funds will be used to expand operations and marketing, as well as to hire more employees, by the Bengaluru-based company.
Swytchd Founder and CEO Sameer Arif stated, “We couldn’t be happier with our first round of external funding through such a supportive group of investors.”
Swytchd, founded in 2021 by Sameer Arif, is an electric vehicle subscription platform. “Our vision is to hand-hold the transition to electric vehicles for customers by reducing upfront costs, providing flexibility vs. the current EMI model, and making vehicle ownership trouble-free,” the company stated in a LinkedIn post. “All the advantages, none of the hassle.”
