The Indian auto industry is moving toward an electric vehicle future. Major automakers including Hyundai, Maruti Suzuki, Honda, and Mahindra plan to introduce new electric vehicles in India as a way to contribute to the future. And Tata Motors isn’t falling behind in this development either; in addition to controlling a sizeable portion of the electric vehicle market, the company has expansion plans in the future. The company wants to increase manufacturing of new models like the updated Nexon EV, Punch EV, Curvv EV, and others.
EV Tata Curv
The modern car under four meters will be constructed on a modified X1 platform and will be based on Tata’s Gen-2 architecture. With a battery pack that will enable it to cover around 400 kilometers on a single charge, the vehicle is projected to be deployed. When the vehicle is introduced, Tata Motors is expected to provide specifics about its specs. However, the business unveiled the car’s design in April of last year.
Tata Nexon EV Refresh
Tata Nexon EV now has the distinction of being the most well-liked electric vehicle in India. It is available in Prime and Max models. The company intends to release a redesign of the electric SUV to capitalize on its popularity. The electric vehicle’s test mules have been seen several times. The car will receive numerous feature updates, a 10-inch infotainment system, a redesigned steering wheel, and other improvements in the facelift version.
The car’s 30.2 kWh battery pack allows the Prime version to travel 312 kilometres on a single charge. The Max variant, in contrast, has a 453 km greater range and a 40.5 kWh battery pack.

The Tata Punch, a popular micro-SUV on the market, is getting ready to go electric and will soon be known as the Punch EV. The Punch EV is planned to be powered by Tata’s Ziptron technology and to have a number of battery pack configurations for various ranges. The Z-Connect telematics system in this electric micro SUV may also feature a variety of drive modes and regeneration levels.
EV Tata Harrier
The electric variant of the SUV offered in the Indian market, the Tata Harrier EV, will be on display at the 2023 Auto Expo. The electric SUV is based on a model that was displayed during the Expo and has a contemporary appearance. The SUV is anticipated to sport a dual-motor arrangement and a four-wheel drive system.
