Tata Motors has collaborated with Delta Electronics India and Thunderplus Solutions Pvt Ltd. to extend charging framework for its electric commercial vehicles by assembling 250 new fast charging stations across the country.

These additional charging stations, which are dispersed throughout more than 50 cities, including Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru, Pune, and Kochi, will greatly expand the current network of 540 commercial vehicle charging points.

To lessen their carbon impact, e-commerce businesses, parcel and courier services, and other industries are adopting more commercial EVs for last-mile delivery. Based on its knowledge of the commercial EV market, Tata Motors will suggest the best sites and closest dealerships for the installation of these fast-charging stations. Thunderplus Solutions will install and run the required gear, while Delta Electronics will provide it.

Vinay Pathak, Vice President and Business Head – SCV&PU, Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles, said, “In addition to encouraging more people to choose electric commercial vehicles and increasing vehicle uptime, expanding the infrastructure for charging on popular routes will also enhance profitability and contribute to a cleaner, greener environment.”

Our dealerships now have fast chargers installed, making it easy for customers to utilize a dependable charging station in a familiar setting, he added.

Niranjan Nayak, Managing Director, Delta Electronics India added, “Our partnership with Thunderplus and Tata Motors enables us to make a major contribution to the electric cargo ecosystem in India.”

Rajeev YSR, CEO Thunderplus Solutions Pvt Ltd, stated, “Our goal is to provide our electric commercial vehicle consumers with excellent charging options that guarantee dependability and convenience.”

For last-mile delivery, Tata Motors provides India’s most cutting-edge four-wheel e-cargo option, the Ace EV. It is backed by more than 150 electric vehicle service centers nationwide and has strong aggregates for the highest uptime possible, an innovative battery management system, and a Fleet Edge telemetry system.

Utilizing the enormous potential of the Tata UniEVerse, the Ace EV gains from alliances with pertinent Tata Group enterprises and partnerships with top financiers in the nation to provide consumers with a comprehensive e-cargo mobility solution. Every Tata Motors commercial vehicle dealership in the nation sells the Ace EV.
