Tata Motors has unveiled its latest electric commercial vehicle, the Ace EV Pro, priced at an attractive starting point of ₹3.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The move reinforces the company’s focus on last-mile zero-emission mobility solutions, especially for urban logistics and small business operators.
The Ace EV Pro is the upgraded variant of Tata’s existing Ace EV and has been launched under a special scheme offering ₹1.4 lakh in government incentives to make electric commercial transport more accessible. With this update, Tata Motors aims to expand its footprint in India’s fast-growing electric cargo segment.
Equipped with a 27 kW (36 hp) motor delivering 130 Nm torque, the Ace EV Pro promises superior performance while maintaining low operational costs. It comes with a certified range of 162 kilometers on a single charge, making it ideal for daily intra-city delivery and logistics operations.
The new variant features improved battery technology and robust build quality, ensuring reliable performance under tough Indian road conditions. Tata Motors has also introduced connected vehicle features, enabling fleet tracking, battery health monitoring, and remote diagnostics through its fleet management platform.
Announcing the launch, Tata Motors officials emphasized their commitment to sustainable mobility and small business empowerment. They believe the Ace EV Pro can serve as a game-changer for micro-enterprises looking to transition from diesel to electric fleets without breaking the bank.
With this strategic addition, Tata Motors continues to strengthen its EV portfolio and cater to India’s evolving commercial transport ecosystem. The Ace EV Pro is expected to accelerate the adoption of electric mini-trucks in tier-1 and tier-2 cities across the country.
