Tata Passenger Electric Mobility (TPEM), a subsidiary of Tata Motors, has launched two latest EV-specific showrooms in Kerala. The Kochi’s localities ‘Edappally and Kalamassery’ are home to the retail locations under the TATA.ev brand. According to Tata Motors, the opening of these new showrooms will provide the discerning EV community with an exclusive and upscale car-buying and ownership experience that goes beyond regular auto sales.

Shailesh Chandra, Managing Director, Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd. and Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd. said, “We chose Kerala to open our next series of premium Tata.ev stores because the state is the leading market in electric mobility in India with 5.6% of EVs on the road, and Keralans have embraced cutting-edge technology first. We have noticed how the sensitive EV buyer has evolved and expects a first-rate ownership experience.”

He further added, “Tata Motors is dedicated to democratizing EVs for the mainstream market and providing a high-end, digital ownership experience in order to satisfy this typology. In addition, we are about to open five specialized EV service centers in strategic Keralan cities. We consider it a crucial part of India’s electric transformation to provide an elegant ownership and purchasing experience through Tata.ev stores and service centers. These are significant turning points as the nation firmly approaches the EV adoption tipping point.”

TATA.ev Edappally Showroom:

Because of its distinctive layout and size, the TATA.ev Edappally store stands out from other nearby retail establishments. With an area of more than 8,800 square feet, it is the brand’s largest EV store in the nation and can accommodate more than ten vehicles in addition to plenty of parking for consumers and visitors. The store features a dedicated 60 kW DC fast charger, and the brand-new TATA.ev Originals accessory line is both on show and available for purchase.

This store, which has eleven mechanical bays, will soon include a specialized EV servicing facility. This workshop will be able to service over 700 EVs a month with a team of highly skilled specialists, improving consumer satisfaction and service quality.
