Tata Motors opened Re.Wi.Re-Recycle with Respect, its first Registered vehicle scrapping facility (RVSF), in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The center was officially opened by Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari.
According to a press release from Tata Motors, its partner Ganganagar Vaahan Udyog developed and runs a cutting-edge facility with a capacity of 15,000 vehicles annually that uses eco-friendly procedures to safely and sustainably disassemble end-of-life vehicles.
Additionally, the facility is made to disassemble outdated passenger and commercial vehicles from all brands while ensuring de-pollution. It has dedicated stations for safely disassembling parts like tyres, batteries, fuel, oils, liquids, and gases. It is fully digitalized for hassle-free, paperless operations.

With globally benchmarked and optimized recycling processes, the company intends to yield maximum value from the scrap for future use and minimize waste for the overall betterment, he added.

Wagh stated that these decentralized facilities will benefit the customers, share the economic value generated and create employment while addressing the need for vehicle scrapping in every part of the country in an eco-friendly manner.
