In a major boost to India’s clean mobility movement, ThunderPlus, the country’s fastest-growing EV charging infrastructure company, has crossed the ₹10 crore revenue mark within just one year of operations. This milestone reinforces ThunderPlus’ position as a frontrunner in transforming India’s EV ecosystem with scale, speed, and sustainability.

Now operational across 16 states and 40 cities, ThunderPlus has deployed over 800 EV chargers and established 140 charging hubs, with a total installed capacity of 12 MWh and daily energy output surpassing 7 MWh. With each charger clocking an average 3 hours of daily utilization, the company has emerged as a trusted platform known for uptime, accessibility, and consistent performance.

“Reaching ₹10 crore in our first year is more than just a milestone; it’s a strong signal that India is ready for the EV revolution,” said Rajeev YSR, CEO of ThunderPlus. “We’re not just charging vehicles; we’re powering a cleaner, smarter future. As a next phase we are coming with a new campaign ODOT which we will reveal soon”

At the heart of ThunderPlus’ success lies its commitment to user-centric innovation. The company has introduced several India-first solutions that are reshaping how people charge and adopt electric vehicles. These include #HarGharThunder, the country’s first 3.3 kW home EV charger, enabling affordable and convenient residential charging. Its #ChaiPeCharge hubs provide rapid charging for 2W and 3W EVs, ideal for quick pit stops.

Pushing the boundaries of energy innovation, ThunderPlus has also rolled out ethanol and methanol-powered charging units with 4 MWh capacity, and cutting-edge 240 kW dynamic load-sharing stations that intelligently distribute power across high-demand sites. Its franchise model, starting at just ₹6 lakh, is helping small business owners and entrepreneurs become part of the EV revolution, democratizing clean tech participation nationwide.

ThunderPlus’ rapid expansion has been powered by strong collaborations with leading automotive and mobility players such as Tata Motors, Uber, Turno, Mahindra, NMDC, FlixBus, and Delta. These alliances have enabled faster rollouts, seamless grid integration, and an elevated customer experience at scale.

From metro cities like Delhi and Bengaluru to fast-growing EV nodes like Vijayawada, Ayodhya, and Nagpur, ThunderPlus is laying the groundwork for a truly national EV network reliable, widespread, and future-ready.

Looking ahead, ThunderPlus is targeting ₹100 crore in revenue in the next financial year, with plans to expand its footprint to 100 cities and all 750+ districts across India. With a mission to make EV charging as commonplace and dependable as street lighting, the company is accelerating toward a future where clean mobility is no longer a luxury but the national standard.
