Hiroki Nakajima, Toyota’s chief technology officer, revealed that the company intends to introduce 10 new battery electric car models by 2026 at a briefing on the strategy under new CEO Koji Sato.

While the 2.4L diesel engine in the 2023 Fortuner gives a mileage of 13.9 km/l, the 2.8L diesel engine boasts a stated mileage of 14.7 km/l.
