Toyota has officially introduced the all-new 2026 C-HR Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV), marking a significant addition to its electrified lineup. This fully electric crossover combines a coupe-inspired design with a performance-oriented drivetrain, aiming to deliver both style and substance to the North American market.

Under the hood, the 2026 C-HR BEV features a dual-motor All-Wheel Drive system that produces a combined output of 338 horsepower. This setup enables the vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in approximately five seconds. Powered by a 74.7 kWh battery, the C-HR offers an estimated all-electric range of up to 290 miles, catering to both daily commutes and longer journeys.

To enhance charging convenience, the C-HR BEV is equipped with a North American Charging Standard (NACS) port, providing access to a wide network of DC fast-charging stations across the country. The vehicle also supports Level 1 and Level 2 AC charging options. Additionally, drivers can utilize steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters to select from four levels of regenerative braking, optimizing energy efficiency and battery recharge during drives.

Built on Toyota’s e-TNGA platform, the C-HR BEV offers a blend of utility and premium design. The interior provides up to 25.4 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seats, ensuring practicality for various needs. Exterior features include a power liftgate, rain-sensing wipers, low-profile roof rails, and a choice between 18- and 20-inch wheels. Customers can also select from a range of single and two-tone paint options to personalize their vehicle.

Inside the cabin, the C-HR BEV is equipped with a 14-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The interior design emphasizes comfort and modernity, featuring soft-touch materials and customizable lighting to enhance the driving experience.

The 2026 Toyota C-HR BEV is expected to arrive at U.S. dealerships in early 2026. While pricing details have not yet been disclosed, the vehicle’s combination of performance, design, and technology positions it as a competitive option in the growing electric crossover segment.
