Triton EV and W Motors formally announced their strategic cooperation during an agreement signing ceremony conducted at W Motors’ factory in Dubai Silicon Oasis, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. With this partnership, W Motors and Triton EV will be able to collaborate to further their shared objective of offering cutting-edge automotive solutions to the public and commercial sectors. The key objectives of the joint efforts will be the expansion of the Middle Eastern, Indian, and US markets.

Triton EV which has its headquarters in the US has concentrated on producing engines and vehicles that run on hydrogen and is presently doing so at its facilities in India. In order to satisfy the expanding ESG requirements across the globe the business has created a variety of electric commercial vehicles utilizing patented battery technology and platform architecture.

Working with Triton EV on a number of significant mobility projects will be W Motors, an automotive design, engineering, and manufacturing company based in Dubai that specializes in electric commercial vehicles, security and defense vehicles, and hypercars.

Both partners will work together under the W Motors GHIATH Program to develop a specially built armored security vehicle for government use that will utilize Triton EV’s hydrogen engine. The Triton EV team developed the hybrid engine itself. It powers the vehicle mostly on hydrogen and has a backup gasoline system to improve range and engine efficiency.

The GHIATH security vehicle will be manufactured after it is designed in the factories that each partner owns in Dubai and India. Triton EV will help create cutting-edge security equipment and technology that will meet the demands of senior government officials while W Motors will enhance the design, engineering, and functioning of the GHIATH vehicle it already provides for the Dubai Police.

“This partnership marks a significant milestone in the green energy and automotive landscape” said Himanshu Patel, the founder and CEO of Triton EV. It leverages the extensive expertise of W motors and TEV in design and engineering. We are thrilled about the potential to equip W Motors vehicles with the hydrogen internal combustion engine (ICE) technology from Triton EV. We see a lot of opportunities for collaboration, especially in providing high-performance and environmentally friendly vehicles, given that Triton EV’s present lineup of 10-ton trucks is already in operation in Dubai.
