TVS Motor Company has expanded its iQube electric scooter lineup with the launch of a new 3.1 kWh battery variant, offering an IDC-certified range of 123 km. Priced at ₹1.56 lakh (ex-showroom), the new variant provides a balanced option between range, performance, and affordability.

The new 3.1 kWh model sits between the existing 2.2 kWh and 5.1 kWh battery options. TVS aims to cater to a wider audience with varied commuting needs, from short urban rides to longer daily travels. The company says this variant meets customer demand for a practical range without raising costs significantly.

Visually and feature-wise, the scooter remains identical to its siblings. It sports the same design, LED lighting, TFT display, and connectivity features such as turn-by-turn navigation, incoming call alerts, and geo-fencing. Riders also benefit from regenerative braking and multiple riding modes.

Charging the 3.1 kWh iQube takes about 4 hours and 30 minutes using the standard 650W charger. The battery is AIS 156-compliant and comes with improved thermal management and safety features, aligning with industry standards for reliable EV performance.

TVS continues to strengthen its iQube lineup with this mid-range addition, aiming to attract more urban commuters looking to shift from petrol to electric scooters. The company has already seen strong market response to its electric range, with sales rising steadily in recent quarters.

With growing competition in the e-scooter market, TVS’s latest offering enhances its value proposition while addressing range anxiety. The 3.1 kWh iQube adds flexibility to its portfolio, positioning the brand to retain and grow its share in India’s rapidly expanding EV segment.
