Ultraviolette Automotive, an electric motorbike producer, starts distributing its F77 Mach 2 e-wheeler to European Union markets, with Union Minister for Heavy Industries H D Kumaraswamy inaugurating the first batch. The company asserted that the supplies of the high-performance, made-in-India electric motorbike will aid India’s status in the global EV market.
Kumaraswamy celebrated Ultraviolette’s debut in Europe, calling it a turning point in the Indian auto sector and proof of its ability to compete internationally.
Along with Kumaraswamy, M B Patil, the Karnataka Minister for Industries and Commerce, and representatives from the company were present at the flag-off ceremony held at Ultraviolette’s Bengaluru manufacturing site.
“This export launch is in line with our government’s goal of making India a worldwide powerhouse for EV manufacturing and serves as an example of how Indian companies are developing in vital fields like electric mobility,” added Kumaraswamy.
Ultraviolette’s co-founder and chief technology officer, Niraj Rajmohan, stated that the company’s foray into Europe is a testament to its dedication to providing India-designed electric vehicles for international markets.
