In a bold move to disrupt the electric vehicle market, Ultraviolette, a prominent EV manufacturer, launched two innovative models at the FAST FORWARD India ’25 event in Bengaluru. The Tesseract electric scooter and the Shockwave electric motorcycle are set to redefine performance, safety, and technology standards in India’s EV sector.

Tesseract: A Game-Changer in Electric Scooters

Ultraviolette’s Tesseract, priced at ₹1.2 lakh for early buyers, is being touted as the world’s most advanced electric scooter. The Tesseract is equipped with cutting-edge features like radar integration, dashcams, lane-change assist, and collision alerts. It promises impressive performance with a peak power output of 20 bhp (15 kW) and a range of 261 km, setting new benchmarks for electric two-wheelers in India.

Performance and Technology in the Shockwave Motorcycle

In addition to the Tesseract, Ultraviolette unveiled the Shockwave electric motorcycle, designed for enthusiasts seeking top-tier performance. The motorcycle offers high performance and a futuristic design, catering to both urban riders and long-distance travelers. The Shockwave brings forward a unique combination of speed, technology, and efficiency in the electric two-wheeler market.

Enhanced Safety and Charging Innovations

Both models focus heavily on safety and convenience, with advanced features such as Omnisense mirrors and blindspot detection to ensure secure rides. The Tesseract also features quick-charging capabilities, allowing for a full charge in under an hour. The bike’s storage capacity of 34 liters provides ample space for daily use, making it both functional and stylish for everyday commuters.

Future of Electric Mobility in India

Ultraviolette’s entry into the electric vehicle market with these pioneering models marks a significant milestone. With the initial delivery of the Tesseract scheduled for early 2026, the company has set its sights on transforming the EV landscape in India, offering consumers more sustainable, efficient, and high-performance mobility options.
