In November 2024, VinFast, the leading EV manufacturer in Vietnam, reported a historic milestone: the delivery of over 16,000 EVs, the highest monthly sales record for any Vietnamese automaker in the preceding decade. This achievement raises VinFast’s domestic sales to over 67,000 units so far this year, solidifying its position as the top auto brand in its home market.
November’s record shows an incredible 40% rise over October 2024, with an average of nearly 530 autos supplied daily. The surge in deliveries demonstrates Vietnam’s quick transition to green mobility and the growing popular acceptance of eco-friendly modes of transportation.
VinFast now operates more than 120 service centers across Vietnam, having swiftly expanded its service network to accommodate the rising demand. VinFast’s extensive coverage, which ensures timely customer service, solidifies its position as the leading car brand in the country.
In an attempt to boost production, VinFast had a groundbreaking ceremony for a newly constructed factory in Ha Tinh, Vietnam, which was completely dismantled. By July 2025, phase 1 of the factory should be up and running, with a focus on creating the VF 3 and VF 5 models. With the capacity to produce up to 300,000 automobiles annually, the plant is designed to satisfy the needs of both domestic and international markets.
VinFast’s dedication to influencing Vietnam’s green mobility future is demonstrated by its November milestone and continuous investments in manufacturing and service. With a robust backlog of pre-orders and growing production capacity, the business is on pace to meet its 2024 global delivery goal.
