Vietnamese electric vehicle manufacturer VinFast is accelerating its expansion in the Philippines through strategic service partnerships, aiming to establish a network of 100 service workshops across the country by 2025. The move is part of the company’s broader effort to strengthen its global presence in Southeast Asia.

VinFast announced it has signed several key agreements with leading Philippine auto service partners to provide after-sales support, maintenance, and repair services for its EV customers. The company says these alliances will help ensure widespread service coverage and enhanced customer confidence as it scales operations.

The planned service network will include VinFast-authorized workshops and partner-run service centers strategically located across major cities and regions. The workshops will be equipped to handle all models in VinFast’s EV lineup, including battery diagnostics and advanced repair technologies.

The expansion aligns with VinFast’s global strategy to offer seamless, reliable after-sales experiences in international markets. By leveraging local expertise and infrastructure, the company aims to fast-track its entry into the Philippine EV market while maintaining service quality and accessibility.

In recent months, VinFast has been aggressively pursuing international growth, with launches in North America, Europe, and now Southeast Asia. The company views the Philippines as a key market in the region due to its growing demand for sustainable mobility and government incentives for EV adoption.

VinFast’s long-term vision includes contributing to the Philippines’ clean transportation goals by offering accessible, high-quality electric vehicles supported by a strong service ecosystem. The company plans to open its first showrooms in the country soon, alongside the rollout of its service network.
