Vietnamese electric vehicle (EV) maker VinFast has opened its first dealership in France, marking a significant step in the company’s efforts to establish a strong presence in Europe’s competitive EV market. The new dealership is located in Paris and will serve as a hub for both sales and service.
In addition to the Paris showroom, VinFast also announced the launch of a comprehensive EV service network across France, enabling improved customer support and maintenance infrastructure for its growing fleet. This expansion aligns with the company’s global growth strategy focused on key European markets.
The French facility will showcase VinFast’s current electric models, including the VF 8 and VF 9, offering test drives and immediate vehicle consultations. Customers will also gain access to after-sales services and mobile repair options, a move the company says will enhance ownership experience and customer confidence.
VinFast executives stated that the expansion demonstrates their commitment to the European market, despite stiff competition from established automakers. “France is a cornerstone of our European strategy, and this launch is a major milestone,” said a company spokesperson.
The company also hinted at future dealership openings in other major European cities and plans to strengthen partnerships with local logistics and service providers to ensure efficient delivery and vehicle servicing. VinFast is currently ramping up production to meet expected demand from the region.
VinFast’s European push comes amid rising EV adoption across the continent and growing consumer interest in alternative mobility solutions. With this latest move, the company aims to position itself as a competitive, customer-focused EV brand in one of the world’s most dynamic automotive markets.
