Vietnamese electric vehicle manufacturer VinFast is set to showcase its VF 7 and VF 9 models at the Auto Expo 2025 in New Delhi, India, marking a significant step in its global expansion strategy.
The VF 7 is a compact electric SUV aimed at urban consumers, while the VF 9 is a premium electric SUV designed for families and long-distance travel. Both models highlight VinFast’s commitment to sustainable mobility and advanced automotive technology, featuring cutting-edge electric powertrains and smart features.
“We are excited to introduce the VF 7 and VF 9 to the Indian market, which holds immense potential for EV adoption,” said a VinFast spokesperson. “Our participation in the Auto Expo 2025 demonstrates our dedication to delivering high-quality EV solutions to consumers worldwide.”
VinFast, a subsidiary of Vingroup, Vietnam’s largest private conglomerate, has been actively expanding its footprint in global markets. The company has recently launched operations in the United States and Europe, leveraging its competitive pricing and environmentally friendly vehicles to capture market share.
The Auto Expo 2025, one of the largest automotive exhibitions in Asia, will provide VinFast with a platform to engage with industry stakeholders, showcase its innovative technologies, and strengthen its brand presence in India.
India is witnessing a surge in demand for electric vehicles, driven by government incentives and growing environmental awareness among consumers. VinFast’s entry into the Indian market could intensify competition in the EV segment, currently dominated by domestic and international players.
The VF 7 and VF 9 are expected to be available for purchase in India shortly after their unveiling, though pricing and specific market strategies have not yet been disclosed.
