The VF 5 electric SUV from VinFast Auto has officially started to be delivered during Gaikindo Jakarta Auto Week 2024. This is VinFast’s second electric vehicle launch in Indonesia, following the successful introduction of the VF e34 earlier this year.

VinFast has shown its commitment to promote eco-friendly transportation in Indonesia and throughout Southeast Asia by delivering two EV models in just nine months since entering the Indonesian market.

Compact and Eco-Friendly Urban Transportation

The compact yet robust design of the A-segment electric vehicle VF 5 makes it perfect for urban environments. It appeals to Jakartan urban consumers who are increasingly selecting sustainable transportation solutions because of its state-of-the-art safety features and ecologically friendly alternative to gasoline-powered automobiles.

Modifiable Prices and Possession Options

VinFast charges 286,450,000 IDR (with battery purchase) or 218,250,000 IDR (including battery subscription) for the VF 5 in Indonesia. The battery subscription plan, which starts at just 990,000 IDR each month, is an option for customers who desire greater flexibility.

The company also gives customers the choice of interest-free installments, no administrative fees, and a one-year service charge waiver. With up to 90% of the original value retained after six months of use and 70% after three years, VinFast guarantees excellent resale prices to encourage the transition to electric vehicles.

Top Warranty and Post-purchase Support in the Industry

With an eight-year unlimited mileage warranty for the battery and a seven-year or 160,000-kilometer warranty for the vehicle, the VF 5 sets the bar for after-sales servicing.

VinFast’s dominance in Indonesia’s EV market is cemented with the launch of the VF 5, which also advances the company’s mission to guarantee universal access to electric mobility and the country’s push for greener transportation.
