VinFast publicly unveiled the price and took bookings for its five-seater VF 7 electric SUV at the 12th Philippines Electric Vehicle Summit (PEVS). After the VF 5 and VF 3 models, this is the third VinFast car available in the Philippine market. VinFast’s commitment to creating eco-friendly transportation in the Philippines and expanding its range of electric vehicles across Southeast Asia is further evidenced by this launch.
Both the Base and Plus versions of the VF 7 will be available in the Philippines, each with a variety of features intended to meet the needs of different customers. Prices for the Base and Plus versions range from 1,470,000 pesos (including the battery subscription) to 1,760,000 pesos (including the battery) and 1,730,000 pesos (including the battery subscription) to 2,380,000 pesos, respectively. Battery subscription rates start at roughly 6,300 pesos per month, and prices can be adjusted to suit specific travel needs.
Buyers can pay a 5,000 peso deposit for each vehicle through VinFast’s official website or authorized dealerships; this deposit is recoverable in line with VinFast’s rules. Customers who reserve their VF 7 before November 24 will also be eligible for discounts of up to 53,000 pesos and receive eye-catching gifts of up to 57,000 pesos.
According to Mr. Cao Ngoc Nguyen Duy, CEO of VinFast Philippines, “the VF 7 is one of the boldest and most innovative models in VinFast’s extensive electric vehicle lineup.” “We’re not just planning to launch a new vehicle. By promoting ecologically conscious and energy-efficient practices, we are promoting a sustainable way of life. By supplying our products, we hope to collaborate with the Philippines to advance a shared vision of a sustainable future and actively support global efforts to lower carbon emissions”.
Both versions come equipped with important safety features like electronic stability control, traction control, hill-start assistance, and anti-roll control. The Plus version of the Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) includes adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, forward collision warning, rear cross-traffic alert, blind-spot monitoring, door-opening alert, adaptive cruise control, adaptive braking, and a 360-degree camera system.
