At Bauma CONEXPO 2023, Volvo Construction Equipment unveiled the EC55 Electric Excavator, the company’s first electric product for India.
Between January 31 and February 3, 2023, the company will display a variety of machines targeted at the road and retail sectors at the India Expo Centre in Greater Noida.
According to claims, the EC55 electric compact excavator will reduce energy costs by at least 50% and maintenance costs by more than 30%. It creates new possibilities for businesses to run efficiently in low-carbon zones, indoors, and other locations, even at odd hours, and in noise-sensitive areas and other locations. Early in 2024, the EC55 model will be accessible.
The Volvo EC 200D Crawler Excavator with Quick Coupler and HB22 Breaker is also on screen. The Volvo P7320 Track Paver, one of the most recent pavers in the company’s line to be produced and introduced in India, is also on display. It has the ideal balance of power, output, and accuracy for excellent paving quality and perfectly smooth mats. It has a 9m high-density variomatic screed installed, which provides a significant amount of flexibility when frequently changing paving widths.
