Wardwizard Innovations & Mobility Ltd (WIML), a prominent Indian electric vehicle manufacturer, has entered into a strategic partnership with XiCon International Ltd, a subsidiary of Kaiser Corporation. The collaboration involves leasing 7,500 units of Wardwizard’s Wolf+ electric scooters to bolster last-mile delivery services in major Indian cities, including Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Delhi, and Pune.
The deployment of these electric scooters is scheduled to commence in the 2025–26 financial year and extend through 2026–27. This initiative marks XiCon’s official foray into the electric mobility sector, aligning with its broader diversification efforts across power, telecom, and infrastructure domains.
Under the agreement, Wardwizard will not only supply the electric scooters but also provide comprehensive after-sales support. This includes batteries, spare parts, and technical services. Additionally, co-branded service-cum-charging stations will be established to enhance operational efficiency and brand visibility.
XiCon will oversee operational responsibilities, including fleet allocation, partnerships with delivery platforms, mobile app development, and marketing campaigns. Both companies will also collaborate on rider training programs to ensure safety and efficiency in EV usage.
Yatin Gupte, Chairman and Managing Director of Wardwizard Innovations & Mobility Limited, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, “Our association with XiCon International is a significant step toward building a robust ecosystem for last-mile connectivity powered by clean energy.”
This alliance is poised to accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles in commercial logistics, contributing to India’s broader goals of sustainable urban mobility. It also underscores the growing confidence among Indian manufacturers in the viability and scalability of electric mobility solutions.
