Warivo Motor India Pvt. Ltd., a well-known electric two-wheeler company, has reached a deal with Battery Smart, India’s largest battery exchange network for electric two- and three-wheelers. With this deal, Warivo’s fleet will be outfitted with cutting-edge battery swapping technology, with an emphasis on the business-to-business (B2B) market.
Warivo hopes to reduce upfront expenses for fleet operators by isolating the battery from the vehicle purchase with the launching of the CRX, its first high-speed electric scooter. This innovative solution enables businesses to transition to more environmentally friendly modes of transportation while also boosting the availability of electric scooters. By allowing fleet owners to swiftly swap out exhausted batteries for fully charged ones, the integration of Battery Smart’s extensive network of swapping stations will minimize range anxiety, ensure uninterrupted service, and increase delivery and logistics efficiency.
By the end of 2025, Warivo intends to deploy over 20,000 electric scooters powered by Battery Smart’s battery-swapping technology across India. This important deployment demonstrates Warivo’s commitment to delivering sustainable mobility solutions and meeting the growing need for environmentally friendly transportation alternatives.
