WATI a full WhatsApp API solution for SMBs, revealed a collaboration with Pulse Energy, one of India’s biggest EV charging aggregators. WATI used its low-code flow creator and connection with WhatsApp payments to build a tailored flow for Pulse energy.
EVs account for 1.1% of all car purchases, according to IVCA-EY Induslaw. By CY27, they are expected to account for 39% of total car purchases. There are presently 1,742 charging stations, but this number is expected to grow to 100,000 by 2027 to satisfy rising demand. EV charging is currently mainly an app-driven procedure. Many of the users do not speak English well. Pulse Energy initiated a study to determine how to reduce the brain burden required to start or halt any charging station in the nation. This was done to coordinate with India’s EV goal.
WATI-powered Pulse Energy can start, halt, and pay for charging via a chat-based conversation via WhatsApp. WATI incorporates WhatsApp Payments to make it easier for businesses to communicate payment requests to consumers. They also receive real-time money alerts. WATI is a full-featured WhatsApp API for small and medium-sized companies that enables consumers to make purchases via a chatbot.
WATI’s Co-Founder and COO Bianca Ho commented on the partnership. WATI’s end–to–end WhatsApp API solution allows SMBs to interact with their customers in real-time, in a personalized and easy-to-connect way. Merchants now have the ability to create chatbots from simple-to-replicate templates without having to code. WATI’s flow maker made it easy for Pulse Energy, to increase customer experience and convert rates by creating new flows in minutes.
“We have created India’s first WhatsApp-based electric vehicle charging platform. To start their charger, EV drivers will simply scan the QR code to pay with WhatsApp. WATI’s flow builder was instrumental in activating WhatsApp payments for our customers, enabling them easily transact, and without having to load money into 35+ charging stations apps,” Devang Mistry (Co-Founder) of Pulse Energy.
