Yinson GreenTech, a head in Malaysia’s electrification ecosystem, has declared a major partnership with Hubject, a market chief in electric vehicle (EV) compatibility. This partnership points to modify the EV charging landscape in Southeast Asia, beginning with Malaysia.

Yinson GreenTech’s digitalEV software and technologies business has successfully integrated Hubject’s Plug&Charge technology into the chargEV network of charging stations, marking a significant milestone for the electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure. Based on ISO 15118 standards, this state-of-the-art technology provides EV drivers with a seamless, automated, and secure charging experience. Plug&Charge makes charging more convenient than ever by streamlining the process and doing away with the need for numerous app logins, manual authentication, and separate payment methods.

The ground-breaking Plug&Charge solution verifies and safeguards the connection between the car and the charging station using cutting-edge encryption and secure communication protocols. For EV users, this guarantees both convenience and safety.

This collaboration supports Yinson GreenTech’s objective of hastening the deployment of electric vehicles in the area. With its cutting-edge EV charging options and improved user interface, Yinson GreenTech hopes to make a positive impact on a more sustainable future.

The significance of this relationship was underscored by Yinson GreenTech’s Chief Executive Officer, Eirik Barclay, who said, “We are proud to work with Hubject to bring Plug&Charge technology to Malaysia. We are committed to driving the adoption of sustainable technologies.” Through this agreement, EV users may enjoy a safe and convenient charging experience in addition to supporting the sustainability goals of the Malaysian government.

The managing director of Yinson GreenTech’s digitalEV, Sreedhar Sivasambu, continued, saying, “We are committed to improving the EV driving experience through technical innovation. With the help of Hubject’s Plug&Charge technology, we can lead Malaysia’s electric mobility revolution and spur innovation more quickly.”

Hubject CEO Christian Hahn expressed excitement about the relationship, saying, “We are thrilled to work with Yinson GreenTech to bring Plug&Charge technology to Malaysia. In addition to improving EV drivers’ charging experiences, this collaboration will help Southeast Asia’s EV infrastructure grow quickly.”

The Key Benefits of the Collaboration:

=> Smooth Charging Process: electric vehicle owners may charge their cars without requiring repeated app logins or manual authorization.
=>Enhanced Security: To safeguard the charging process, Plug&Charge provides secure connection and cutting-edge encryption.
=> Promote EV Adoption: By facilitating easier access to charging, this collaboration helps the EV ecosystem in Southeast Asia to expand.
