With the Tanga by ZELIO display, ZELIO Ebikes has formally entered the expanding e-rickshaw market. At the esteemed EV India Expo 2024 in New Delhi, the Haryana-based EV company, which has experienced quick success in the electric two-wheeler market since its founding in 2021, unveiled its first two e-rickshaw models.
ZELIO found the EV India Expo, an international electric motor vehicle event, to be the perfect venue for showcasing its most recent products. Manufacturers of electric vehicles gather at the event to showcase the newest models of buses, motorbikes, scooters, passenger cars, and more.
“We have been receiving a lot of inquiries about expanding into shared mobility solutions like e-rickshaws,” said Mr. Kunal Arya, Co-Founder and Managing Director of ZELIO Ebikes, after entering the e-rickshaw industry. We made the decision to enter this market because of the strong demand for this kind of transportation throughout India, especially in urban and semi-urban areas. For millions of people, e-rickshaws are essential to last-mile connectivity and reasonably priced transportation. Our goal with Tanga is to deliver the same level of creativity, dependability, and environmentally responsible solutions that have contributed to the success of our electric two-wheelers. Based on our expertise and dedication to providing premium, eco-friendly products, we are sure that this innovative product will revolutionize Indian commuters’ daily lives. We will also concentrate on developing a network of dealerships.
In addition to Tanga’s display, ZELIO enthralled the crowd with its entire lineup of low-speed electric two-wheelers, which included the well-liked GRACY, Eeva, and X-Men series. The improved X-Men 2.0 and the fast-moving Mystery electric scooter were the main attractions. Due to their innovative designs and remarkable capabilities, both garnered a lot of attention, solidifying ZELIO’s position as a market leader in electric mobility.
