Zeno, an emerging electric mobility startup, has launched Emara, India’s first sport utility electric motorcycle. The launch marks a significant step in blending performance and practicality in the country’s EV two-wheeler market.
Unveiled on May 21, 2025, Emara is designed to serve both urban riders and adventure seekers. It offers a rugged yet stylish design, high ground clearance, and advanced electric powertrain technology for a balanced all-terrain riding experience.
The company stated that Emara comes with a high-performance battery offering competitive range and fast-charging capability. It also includes features such as smart connectivity, regenerative braking, and dual riding modes.
Zeno emphasized that the Emara isn’t just about power—it’s built for everyday use with durable components and ergonomic comfort, making it suitable for city commutes as well as weekend rides.
With Emara, Zeno aims to redefine what electric motorcycles can offer to Indian consumers by combining sustainability with sport-utility appeal. The company is also working to expand its dealership and service network to support the new launch.
The Emara is expected to be available for bookings starting next month, with deliveries planned in select cities later this year. Zeno hopes the launch will accelerate adoption of high-performance EV motorcycles in India.
