ZF’s Commercial Vehicle Solutions (CVS) division has acquired a long-term stock deal with Ford Trucks for e-mobility technology, additionally setting its place as the top supplier of electric drives in Europe. Under the terms of the collaboration, ZF’s latest cutting-edge zero emissions technologies will be launched in Ford Trucks, the company’s only heavy commercial vehicle brand, for utility in its next electrified heavy truck models.

ZF’s CeTrax 2 series features a modular and compact design
ZF will initially supply the CeTrax 2 dual electric central drive for Ford Trucks’ heavy duty electric rigid truck, which will make its world premiere at the IAA Transportation 2024. In compliance with the agreement, ZF will supply additional electric drive models as they go into production.
