The electric variant of the C3 hatchback with an ICE engine has been introduced by Citroen in India. The eC3’s starting price is Rs 11.50 lakh and the Feel variant with a dual-tone paint option.

powertrain, range, and charging

The 29.2kWh battery pack in the Citroen eC3 powers the 57hp and 143Nm peak torque electric motor mounted on the front axle. The eC3 is reportedly capable of reaching a top speed of 107 kph and accelerating from 0 to 60 kph in 6.8 seconds. Along with regenerative braking, the Citroen eC3 also has two driving modes: Eco and Standard.

The Citroen eC3 has two charging options and a 320km claimed ARAI range. The second is an onboard 3.3 kW AC charger that supports CCS2 fast charging.

variants and features

The eC3 EV is offered in two variations, Live and Feel, just like the C3 with an ICE. The higher-specified Feel receives a 10.2-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a four-speaker audio system, and a height-adjustable driver’s seat. The features are also similar to those of the petrol model.

The MyCitroen Connect app also brings connected car technology to the eC3. It has 35 intelligent features to check the charging status, location, and driving style. It comes equipped with dual airbags and ABS with EBD for safety.
